BST ADV SS2026: Harness the prosperity

The intricate challenges of lacquerware sparked Hanoia’s spirit of exploration, inspiring the brand to chart new paths for time-honored techniques. In this collection, the art of gold-leaf gilding takes on a bold transformation: once reserved for delicate accents, gold now envelops the Aurify and Gallop horse sculptures in their entirety. The process, demanding nearly 500 minutes of meticulous craftsmanship, reveals the radiant magnificence of the material.
For the hand-painted Gallop series, artisans wield superfine brushes to trace every nuance — from the flowing mane to the horse’s dynamic stride. Each delicate stroke embodies freedom and untamed vitality, capturing the essence of the Gallop’s spirited soul.
Aurify
Gold, with its luminous brilliance and timeless allure, enhances the artistry of Aurify’s gilded masterpieces. Yet beyond its inherent worth, Aurify’s true distinction lies in the mastery of its craftsmanship.

Aurify is a fusion of gold-leafing and hand-painting techniques
Each creation is meticulously adorned with 24K gold leaf through a process of extraordinary precision — the surface must be flawlessly prepared, for even the slightest imperfection would be revealed. Upon this perfect canvas, elegant straight and curved lines are hand-painted with care, their simplicity radiating refined sophistication. Every stroke is executed with devotion, culminating in a finish of impeccable beauty.
Gallop
In Vietnamese tradition, the horse embodies noble virtues — resilience, strength, fortune, and triumph. These qualities have long secured its place as a timeless symbol in art. Yet within Hanoia’s Gallop lacquerware, the horse takes on a distinctive expression.

Gallop features a leisurely striding horse, highlighted by red brushstrokes against an ivory backdrop
In the hand-painted patterned edition, artisans employ ultra-fine brushes to capture the delicate softness of the mane and tail, while carefully defining the horse’s muscular form and dynamic stride. Bold red accents against an ivory canvas infuse the figure with vitality, evoking spirited motion and freedom.

The Gallop horse sculpture comes in three color variations
For the lacquer statue, the design draws inspiration from Sophie Dabet — the French sculptor celebrated for her nature-inspired works carved directly from stone and wood. This Gallop portrays the horse in a poised, deliberate stride, meticulously crafted to radiate strength, vigor, and boundless energy.
