Collaborating with Hanoia for the Thong Dong product line, the artist aims to express her deep admiration for the harmonious blend of modern life rhythms with the ancient architecture of Hanoi's Old Quarter.

Hanoia employs engraving and hand-painting techniques on the Thong Dong candy box to vividly recreate every street corner and house against a yellow backdrop, reminiscent of the classic colour of Hanoia's historic buildings. Lys Bui's illustrations evoke a feeling of immersion in the lively atmosphere, brimming with familiar sounds such as the calls of street vendors, the gentle tinkling of bicycle bells, and even the joyous laughter of children playing with marble balls on the pavement.
