In this first drop, Hanoia introduces two brand-new designs: Garnet and Innate, each showcasing its own distinctive craftsmanship. To highlight its mastery in lacquer-making, Hanoia selects the pomegranate—an emblem of abundance and fulfillment—as the centerpiece for Garnet. The patterns are entirely hand-painted, a signature technique of Hanoia that demands exceptional precision and care, further elevating the brand’s artisanal spirit. 

In contrast to complexity, Innate embraces a minimalist spirit, while reflecting Hanoia’s distinctive approach to color harmony. The blend of deep crimson and teal creates a warm, balanced presence—both soothing and striking as an accent in any space. Each Innate piece features a unique color pairing, and when placed together, they form a harmonious ensemble while retaining their individual character. 

Alongside the new pieces, three earlier designs also make a return—familiar yet refreshed with a new look. Elephone and Moonbow focus on color harmony through a vibrant palette of deep red, green, yellow, orange, and purple. Their creative forms, combined with the artful balance of contrasting shades, bring a distinctive touch of innovation to the collection. 

With Elephone, the highlight lies in its ears, crafted from walnut wood with natural grain left intact. Each piece is one of a kind, as no two wood patterns are ever the same. Moonbow, on the other hand, applies a complex color-blending technique on a single surface, requiring each hue to retain its distinct character while merging seamlessly into the whole. This fusion not only demonstrates exquisite craftsmanship but also reveals a new kind of beauty—more refined, vibrant, and multidimensional. 

And Monument stands as a tribute to the majestic beauty of Ha Long Bay—a natural heritage site worthy of its title, “a wonder of land rising amidst the sky.” This breathtaking scene is brought to life through a water sanding technique, vividly capturing the spectacular essence of Vietnam’s landscapes. Achieving such a flawless surface requires the artisan’s skill and experience—from selecting the right grade of abrasive paper to mastering the pressure applied during sanding. Gradually, a poetic panorama of mountains and waters emerges on the lacquer surface, evoking a quiet yet profound sense of serenity.
