Hanoia's new flagship store at 12 Ly Dao Thanh street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Ha Noi, is perfectly situated at the historic, cultural, and urban crossroads of Vietnam’s capital, inviting art enthusiasts to embark on a journey through Vietnamese handcrafted lacquerware treasures—from diverse creations in traditional techniques to contemporary art. Here, artisanal excellence becomes more tangible and accessible than ever before.

August, 2025 – More than just a retail space, Hanoia Press Club's brand-new store unveils the story of Vietnamese lacquerware's journey from traditional craft villages to global prominence. Located at the Press Club building facing Ly Dao Thanh Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Ha Noi, Hanoia Press Club sits at the vibrant intersection of Hanoi's history and culture, honoring the harmonious spirit between tradition and modernity, artisanal heritage and the brand's contemporary vision. This is a Hanoia where wandering around takes you through the '36 streets'—a historic quarter once rich with craft guilds and artisan workshops in the heart of the city—yet also gazing forward at a capital that is increasingly modern and globally integrated. This growth emerges from an urban area bearing the unique French-Indochinese architectural imprint found nowhere else in Southeast Asia. This is a Hanoia where Hoan Kiem Lake—Hanoi's timeless heart—lies on one side, and the city's new arc along the Red River lies on the other, spreading wings for the future of this historic land.

The artisans mark this special intersection with a brilliant knot that punctuates Ha Noi's map. Every detail reflects the distinctive imprint of the brand established in 1997. Hanoia's living essence welcomes art enthusiasts and visitors right from the storefront: reaching up to the third floor of the Press Club building like a magnificent mural that evokes profound emotion, it features red brick architecture arranged in the Vietnamese glazed tile pattern. The facade weaves together indigenous DNA with Hanoia's sophisticated code in each individual brick tile, whose form draws inspiration from the letter H in the brand's logo. Standing out prominently is Hanoia's official logo: at night, together with hundreds of red bricks, this lettering has become a cultural signature that harmonizes with the comprehensive lighting symphony by Étienne Gillabert—the Swiss lighting designer who has collaborated with leading global brands such as Hermès, Balenciaga, and Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris and New York. The project was designed by G8A Architects – an international architectural design firm.

The symphony of light continues to perform through a space of perfect balance between stillness and movement, spacious yet concealing vivid layers of living concepts within Hanoia Press Club. Stepping through the doorframe with geometric structures reminiscent of Hanoia's familiar design motifs, one encounters a display system of pedestals, counters, and lacquered tables that blend organic forms, natural surface materials, and Hanoia's distinctive design language. The furniture subtly channels the space alongside gently curved walls that converge with display walls, featuring a unique highlight of tiered wall steps inspired by terraced rice fields—the beautiful "green architecture" amid silent mountains and ancient winds, carved into nature by human hands—and the layers of lacquer that also serve as the living essence upon Hanoia's creations. The binary color palette, dominated by white and beige paired with neutral color accents, is carefully chosen to honor the rich color spectrum across the collections: a distinctive code sequence unmistakable in the Artisan House's DNA.

All of this creates a comprehensive Hanoia Press Club rich with Vietnamese identity and Hanoia's distinctive character, breathing soul into the spirit of heritage while never concealing its contemporary essence, closely bonded yet continuously transforming like the ancient yet vibrant city beyond the glass doors. Here, collections of lifestyle art, fashion, accessories, and jewelry crafted by Hanoia—both current pieces and beloved iconic designs cherished over the years—shine within the most natural and complete setting ever created.

Alongside the main display space, the new store dedicates a special area where visitors can directly experience the crafting tools and discover each step that goes into making a lacquerware product—a first-time experience in nearly two decades of Hanoia’s retail presence. This miniature workshop helps customers understand not only the meticulous craftsmanship but also the long journey the brand has traveled to bring Vietnamese lacquerware, Vietnamese handicrafts, and Vietnamese creativity to the wider world.

"Hanoia Press Club is a fresh highlight for guests who cannot resist their curiosity and continuously seek values that transcend tangible products," a Hanoia representative shares. "The design language, distilled from the product design language itself and Vietnamese identity, whispers a brand message to customers' refined aesthetic sensibilities."

Hanoia Press Club opens up a new art space in the heart of the capital, where every "masterpiece" can be touched and owned. This journey will continue, and the next destination in another city will soon be announced, carrying Hanoia's distinctive creative signature.
