Hanoia employs engraving and hand-painting techniques on the Thong Dong small vase to vividly recreate each street corner and house, set against a yellow backdrop reminiscent of the classic hue of Hanoia's historic buildings. Lys Bui's illustrations invoke a sense of immersion in the vibrant atmosphere, filled with familiar sounds like the calls of street vendors, the gentle chime of bicycle bells, and even the joyous laughter of children playing with marbles on the cobblestone streets.
