I meticulously built my own world… and then destroyed it myself!
If you ever meet Trang Anh on the street, your first impression of this girl will be: “Oh, a lanky girl with short black hair”. Her cold face, without emotion, sometimes makes people wrongly think that she has her nose in the air. However, when you get to know her, you will discover this reflects only the “lovely naivety” of the 25-year-old girl.
If someone thinks Trang Anh feels superior to another, they are totally wrong or don’t understand the “no emotion” message brought by her chubby face. “No emotion” doesn’t mean she is cold, it is simply because she is embarrassed by the thousand-and-one questions that she doesn’t have the answer to yet. Until you see beads of sweat on her sideburns, during an innocuous conversation, you won’t understand how timid Trang Anh is. Until you talk with her, you won’t see “no emotion” is only her appearance. Hidden within it is a whole world filled with countless colors and extremely fragile feelings. Trang Anh’s inner world is filled with uncountable multicolored crystals. Each crystal represents an emotion, a dream, a desire, a sadness, a source of joy without a name.
Trang Anh is a doll who dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, she used to study fashion design in one of aesthetic capitals of the world – London. It was thought that her teenage dream was to have a “happy ending” in Europe. But then one day, Trang Anh confided: “I realized I was not suitable for fashion or perhaps, fashion was something too huge, too immense that made me overwhelmed. And I decided I would change my direction. I will not pursue fashion anymore, but I will still remain in the world of aesthetics, emotions and colors. And so, I’m here, right now, with Hanoia – where I find things that match my current ego.”
